School Readiness Initiative Program
IILA School Readiness Intiative Program provides services to help families, schools and community partners prepare children ages 0 to 5 with the skills they need to succeed in school.  Support services such provided include: new ongoing training for unlicensed childcare providers in the 90032 zip code area; parent training on emergent literacy activities; health, vision and dental access for children ages 0-5; literacy activities with children and parents including the sue of a library van; linkages between families of preschool children and the target schools and scholarships for 16 preschool children to enable them to enroll in licensed childcare.
